The Holston Methodist

Has effected consolidation with the

Holston Advocate

And now has a list of between two and three thousand subscribers.  It is published at Knoxville, Tenn., every Saturday, by the
Holston Publishing Company
in the interest of Southern Methodism, and of Christianity in general.  The paper will not be confined to religious subjects, but will be devoted also to
News, Literature, Science, Agriculture
and to the material interest of this section generally.

W. W. Gibson is the Business Manager, and Revs. R. N. Price and Wm. Hicks are the Editors.  Every Methodist family within the Holston Conference ought to take the paper.  The Holston Methodist is an Excellent Advertising Medium, and the attention of business men is called to it.

Terms:
Per annum, $2.00; to Ministers and claimants on Conference funds $1.25 per annum.  All Traveling and Local Preachers of the Methodist Church, South, are authorized agents of the paper, and are earnestly requested to co-operate with the Company.
