I've seen the surname HALL mentioned several times now. Do any of you know

anything about Falby (Phalby) HALL (born 1817) that married (1) Jackson

EDMONDS (2) Vineyard R. BRIMER ? I've heard that Falby had a brother by the

name of Thomas HALL.

Vineyard and Falby married in Jefferson County, but are buried in Karns where

their son James Albert "Al" BRIMER lived and died.

I do not remember the Tiptons, they were either before or after I was

there. I

married Von Reagan from High School he covers the Sevier County bunch…

I do

remember Ruth Cate, my, my thats a long time ago. Gibbs area of the

Graves is from

my John Sebastion Graves( Graff) and Sarah Efland side. Danial Graves

owned a lot

of land etc, he married Sophia Catherine Albright. There Sophia Graves

married

Jacob Graves from the John "John Clinch" Graves and Sarah Sharp from the

Barbara

Graves and Henry Sharp line .Out of this marriage came Richard Graves

and Talitha

Fraker, She was the daughter of William A. Fraker and Susanna Hall.

William Fraker

was the son of Sarah Gilliam and Frederick Fraker. Susanna Hall was the

daughter

of Zac. Hall who owned the land where Avondale Farms was located. He

married

Nancy Nelson (I have not researched the Nelson Yet. Zac Hall father was

Thomas

Hall and Nancy Hayes. They were from Orange County North Carolina. David

Hall was

his Father but have not been able to locate Davids parents.

Out of the Richard Graves and Talitha Fraker marriage was John Sylvester

Graves

who married Martha Elizabeth Kitts. Martha Elizabeth Kitts was the

daughter of

Barbara Carolyn Kitts she married William Kitts and he left town and I

have never

found out who he was. Barbara Carolyn was the daughter of Mark Kitts and

Margaret

Severs, have not been able to prove who her parents were yet but Mark

parents were

John Kitts who married Barbara Monroe daughter or Robert Monroe and

Roseanna

Puckett. John was the son of Peter Kitts and Sally Wyrick. This is the

family that

the Accuffs married into. Jacob Sylverster Graves was a judge from

Union. County.

Now i found me a couple of cousins so lets keep talking and droping

those names. I

think this is a family thing we all seem to be related.

Well, I guess it's my turn. Consider me your Yankee cousin. I'm a

Northerner by birth, but my mother and most of her American ancestors

were born in TN, beginning in 1785. I've spent much of my free time

since 1994 researching in and around TN.

My family, friends and I have resurrected a cemetery in Knoxville - the

old Middlebrook Church Cemetery located at Middlebrook Pike and Keith.

There are about 300 people buried there, most have headstones, but if

you know of relatives buried there, please let me know. I have a list

published by the DAR in 1961 and the Boy Scouts in 1976. About 80 graves

remain unmarked and unidentified. So if you attended a burial there, or

visited a relative's grave there in the past, please contact me so we

can be sure they're accounted for.

My Knox connections are the Brabsons and the Brabstons, Whitakers, and

Ellis. Their arrivals in Knox Co. began about 1867. I am particularly

interested in the distinctions between the Brabsons and Brabstons -

that's the big mystery! I would also like to hear from any relatives I

haven't located yet.

You can see what I've figured out about the Brabsons and Brabstons in

Knox, Jefferson, Grainger, Loudon, Blount, Sevier, Hamilton, Washington,

Greene, and Hamblen Counties.

Here's my Brabs(t)on web page:
