After 3 months, I'm scheduled to fly depart Southern California tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. I don't care if they check my teeth before they let me on that plane, but I've got a BIG hankerin' to see my mountains, hug my wonderful husband, and romp in the yard with my dawgs. I'll be decked out in red-white-and-blue and carrying an American flag (minus the stick; they won't let you on with anything that might be used as a weapon). Ellen and her children appear in the 1880 Census for Knox County Tenn. Andrew had died in 1873. I do not find him in the Cemetery lists on the internet at the Knox county site however we would like to discover more about Andrew, his parents and Ellen ? and her parents. Cemetery records, death notices, birth records, marriage records....Can anyone advise how far back these kinds of records go in Tenn.? Are there church baptismal records available, Etc.
