I am searching for any information on ALEXANDER WILSON AND ELIZABETH MILLER.
Knox Co. marriage records indicate that they were married there Oct. 19, 1865.
The children form this marriage were SAMEUL WILSON, FRANK WILSON, ARCH WILSON,
GROVER WILSON, ELMINA WILSON, ETHEL WILSON and ROBERT CROCKETT WILSON my
grandfather. ALEXANDER WILSON and ELIZABETH MILLER names appear in a private act
of the State of TN. in 1833 granting citizenship to Cherokee indians, do not
know if these are my grand parents. Can not find Alexander Wilson in any of the
Knox Co. census records. Alexander Wilson and Elizabeth Miller moved to Wise Co.
VA. some time near or shortly after the turn of the century. They lived in Big
Stone VA. My grandfather ROBERT CROCKETT WILSON was borned May 4, 1880 died
Sept. 5, 1917. He is buried at Cadet near Big Stone VA. Would very much
apperciate any inf! ormation on the WILSON family.
