Green is from Sevierville and claims to have family burried up there in Hatchers
cematary in wears valley I believe. Im having trouble finding hatchers cematary
and have been told the name is changed to atchleys ...is this true?? and could

Looking for information on John JOHNSON, molder b. 1890 in Knox County, died 30
Apr 1919 was buried at Gray Cemetery in Knox County, Tennessee.He was a victim
of a gunshot wound to the abdomen and died shortly.Anyone out there know the
newspaper I can check for this past news? What newspapers were publishing news
in 1919 in Knox County? He marrried Odessa Durtham STRADER (known as Dessie Mae
STRADER-see SHERRILL @Loudon County Query). His father was George G. JOHNSON b.
Aug 1859 in Knox County, and his mother was Ella S. BISE b. Sep 1858 in Knox
County. All are buried in Gray Cemetery in Knox County, Tennessee. Does the
cemetery still exist? Is there a address to write to the cemetery to find exact
place of burial? George G. and Ella S. had 2 other children besides John
JOHNSON. They had Annie M. Johnson b.May 1891 in Knox County , and Robert E.
Johnson b. Nov 1894 in Knox County. Has anyone out there researched this family?

I've begun searching for my maternal grandmothers family, NORRIS. Her father was
Isaac Leroy NORRIS who married Elizabeth RIDING. I understand he had a brother,
Neil NORRIS and a sister Rosetta NORRIS- LONG. They were residence of Knoxville

Does anyone have info on a fort of some kind at Knoxville ca 1830'-40's? I have
found a marriage cert. on which the bride states that her father was born at
Fort at Knox. He was possibly full blooded Cherokee. He married Jane Fisher in
