"Golden Memories" Annual - 1945

Principal's Message

This closes the seventh year of the Rule Senior High School.  We now have more than three hundred graduates who are living a fuller life as a result of the training they have received here.  Seniors, you are to be commended for the sincere work you have done during these years when war and production were the chief concerns of this nation.  You  have prepared yourselves to be better soldiers and artisans.  When this conflict is ended we hope that each of you may enter into a newer and happier way of living.  You are especially fortunate at this time to be able to leave this excellent edition of the 1945 Golden Memories as a reminder of the happy and worthwhile days you  have spent in your four years of high school.

Personally, and I am sure I speak the sentiment of the entire faculty, I want to express my profound appreciation for the sincere work you have accomplished and for this very fine Annual which portrays to your parents and the public the outstanding things you have done.  To all members of the Class of 1945, we extend our heartiest congratulations and wish for each of you the best of everything that may be found in life.

Sincerely,

JOHN S. HUMPHREYS
